All you need to know for FIT10:

  • FIT10 is a program for those who are looking to tone and strengthen their bodies! Each move has a basic, modification and challenge option (Levels 1-3). FIT10 is for those who are looking to start, continue or resume exercise. This is a 10 minute program you can do at-home that will fit into your busy day!

  • HOW WILL I GET MY CLASSES? Once a week you will receive an email with 5 recorded videos for the week. Each video will be labeled with the assigned daily class along with a list of Fitness Tools needed to complete your class. Access to these videos does not expire.

  • WHEN SHOULD I DO MY DAILY CLASS/ WORKOUT? Classes are designed to be completed five days in a week, in the order they are presented (I prefer Monday-Friday) followed by two rest days. You can decide when it's best for you to workout during the day. Making time is sometimes harder than actually doing the workout! And knowing how to structure your day is key! Try to stay consistent and set your workout time block as a "rock" in your calendar!

  • IS THERE ANY ORDER TO THE VIDEOS? WHAT IF I MISS A DAY? The videos are designed to do in order. But, if you need to skip a day or you miss a day, continue the next day with the assigned workout and make-up the class you missed over your two rest days.

FITNESS TOOLS for FIT10 (Intermediate):

  • Weights (1lb- 15lb weights or 2 water bottles , 2 canned goods) Weights are recommended for the Bonus classes! Your "heavy" weights and my "heavy" weights are different. So listen to your body and choose what works for you!

  • Resistance Bands

  • Mat (or towel for floor exercises)

  • Chair (any chair that is stable and even in the seat, not on an incline when you sit. You could also use a bench or risers)

  • Step Stool (optional or modifications of assistance)

WEIGHTS:
FIT10 (Intermediate) is designed to to tone your body with resistance bands and light weights. This program includes 3 BONUS classes that incorporate weights so you can work just a little harder as you focus on Lower Body, Upper Body and Full Body. Use weights that feel good to you. Start with light weights or water bottles if you are a beginner and medium weights or heavier weights if you are more advanced. Listen to your body! If you do not already own weights, no worries, use water bottles or canned goods (same weight) from your pantry as an alternative to weights!

RESISTANCE BANDS:
A Resistance Band is an elastic band used for strength training and they are my secret weapon for any at-home workout. You will need them every day in FIT10! It is important to have a set that has a variety of bands so you have options in the resistance levels you can choose for a full body program.

Tracking your progress:
FIT10 is a program designed to challenge you and help lean and tone your body. Over the course of the program there is potential to see an increase in your strength! Your level on week 1, may not be your level on your last week. By tracking your resistance level (and weights if you are using them), you will be able to see your changes!
