You know those days when you are Sooooo hungry?

Remember my egg cloud wraps, I still make those... they are in an old post and you can find them if you scroll my IG. These are another option and we need options for different goals and programs.

Try my EGG BURRITO!!!
The full recipe and video is in my highlights titled: My Egg Burrito!

Choose an egg combo (egg whites, yolks), add the cheese(shredded, sliced) to glue the wrap and bam! 💜!

I use mission protein wraps, they are high in fiber. 70 calories, 3g fat, 15 carbs, 13g fiber, 7g protein.

BYOM

BYOM: Bring Your Own Milk! Why can’t they carry unsweetened almond milk anyway?

BYOM: Bring Your Own Milk!

Yes I do! Sometimes I bring my own almond milk to add to my coffee at Starbucks, Dunkin or a local coffee shop that does not have unsweetened almond milk!!! I love my unsweetened almond milk so much that I froth it cold at home and bring it and add it to my Iced coffee.
(Thanks to @roercc I now have a new cup that keeps my frothed milk hot and cold and does not spill on the way!)

I used to think it was crazy to bring anything extra, but now I think settling for a sweeter version of almond milk and not enjoying a pricey cup of coffee is crazier!

And why can’t they carry unsweetened almond milk anyway?

Fast & Easy Pea Soup

This is My Mother-In-Law's recipe. She only adds a smoked turkey thigh but I grew up with hot dogs in my Mom's pea soup so I now add BOTH!

I am always looking for a fast dinner recipe for busy Mondays! I love fast and easy Crock Pot recipes! There is usually minimum prep and a few hours later you have a beautiful dinner! My family enjoys pea soup so this is an easy dinner for me!

Here is the recipe with a few tips I added to make sure this is FAST and EASY!

1 large onion diced
2 carrots diced
2 celery ribs diced
TIP: I bought an already chopped soup blend with these exact veggies! It saved me at least 15 min in peeling, chopping and cleaning up!
1 Tbsp fresh thyme
TIP: I use dried thyme since I always have that in my pantry!
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
1 pound split green peas
TIP: Soak the peas for about 1.5 hrs so they absorb water. If you skip this step they will drink up all the water in your crockpot and you will be left with very thick soup!
6 Cups chicken or vegetable broth. (bullion in water is a good alternative)
1 Smoked Turkey Thigh or Leg (Optional)
2 Hot Dogs (Optional)
TIP: The meat gives the pea soup a lovely flavor! If you like meat better, add stew beef.

Start by soaking your peas in water for about 1/5 hrs (add 2 inches of water over the top of the peas). Drain and add to Crock Pot. Add salt and pepper. Add chopped vegetables. Add bay leaf and thyme. Add 6 cups of low sodium chicken or vegetable broth. Add smoked turkey leg and hot dogs. Cover and cook for 8 hrs on low. If you are in a rush cook on high and turn down to low after half the time!

This is My Mother-In-Law's recipe. She only adds a smoked turkey thigh but I grew up with hot dogs in my Mom's pea soup so I now add BOTH!

How many sizes of clothes do you pack when you go on vacation?

You know how some of us pack our looser clothing to wear as the vacation progresses...

You know how some of us pack our looser clothing to wear as the vacation progresses... as we allow ourselves to eat, then we need to go UP a size in our bottoms, then again UP another size before vacation is over??? YES!!!🙋‍♀️ I HAVE BEEN THERE TOO!!!
I have saved my looser dresses for my second half of my vacation, when the bloat kicks in, the weight gain, feeling yucky and wanting to hide behind looser clothes. I promise,
I GET IT!
So let's talk about some TIPS ... WHAT IF WE CHANGED OUR MINDSET!

⚠️CAUTION TOTAL HONESTY AND BLUNT WITH MY MESSAGE: ⬇️

❌What if we did NOT bring bigger clothes?!
❌What if we did NOT allow ourselves to go overboard? (Being honest here. It is overboard. Because if it was not, we would be fine in our same size and we would feel ok.)
❌What if we had no backup plan and that was the plan, to be able to zipper, snap and close all our clothes by the end of the vacation? How would you feel about that? You may feel pretty darn good!!!

Lastly, would you feel like you were missing out? I hope not. Missing out on a whole piece of cake, what if you had a bite or 2 or just 3. Missing out on seconds at the free buffet? Could one plate be enough?
I am here to challenge you.... to explore another option.

So the next time you pack for a vacation, think about only packing the clothes that fit you. Not the "what if" ones.

My secret to vacation dinners:
See this post picture my silver dress is fitted….😉
Wearing something fitted! Not sure if you know this about me but I love Diet Coke… but the bubbles don’t love me! You can be sure that I will NOT order a Diet Coke if I am in a fitted dress! It may be silly, but it works for me!

What are your tips for helping yourself stay on track??????

Eat Lunch

This is your reminder to eat lunch daily. So here is your reminder to STOP what you are doing and EAT.

We work hard, 45 minutes of class, in a workout that is like a “last chance” workout every Friday, finishing strong before the weeekend.
How awesome is that?!

But, if we are not going to recover, eat properly the rest of the day and fuel our bodies with food… it’s a wasted workout!

I know Fridays are always busy days! For all of us! It’s the one day I find many of us plow through the day without stopping to listen to our bodies or we “bank” calories for a big Friday night dinner!

So here is your reminder to!
STOP what you are doing and EAT!!!!

Turkey, spinach, tomato, Mission protein wrap! I Use wax paper to keep the wrap all “wrapped up”!

The Morning Rush? Try Overnight Oats!

I'm sharing this in the hope that perhaps prepping breakfast the night before may help you get your breakfast in without fail.

When I have a busy morning and I am running out of the house at 7:20am I prep my breakfast the night before!

I knew this morning would be tight on time. Last night I made these overnight oats:
1/4C Oatmeal
1Scoop chocolate protein powder
1Cup Unsweetened almond milk
1/4 banana
Add some blueberries
Put it in a container or mason jar, mix it and place in the fridge overnight!
In the morning it’s chilly and refreshing! Some people prefer it warm so feel free to warm it up in the microwave!

The few minutes I set aside to prepare the night before saved my morning rush! And I figured since I was doing it already I made 3!
1 for today and 2 for later!

There are so many recipe combinations for Overnight Oats but this recipe works for me because it’s packed with protein, perfect after my morning workout, oatmeal for a healthy boost of energy to start my day and some sweetness in the banana and blueberries!

Totally Satisfying!
